I have spent years looking for the perfect bead for my limited sliding sinker arrangement (on my shark/ray casting traces). These beads are close to perfect. Importantly, the hole in the middle is wide enough to accept 1mm leader (what I generally use), and the consistency of the bead is solid enough not to deform, but soft enough to create a decent shock buffer. The colour is good too- not too obvious or gaudy. I personally don’t like the fact that the beads are luminous, but I can understand why the manufacturer would want to make a general purpose bead luminous. I would also like a slightly smaller bead, perhaps 5mm (with the same functionality), but again, that is me being fussy.
